Coaching Plans & Check-ins
Coaching is where you write each member their own plan and keep an ongoing conversation with them about it.
Members appear here once they are enrolled in your coaching. Pick one from the list to see their plan and their check-in thread.
Writing a plan
A plan has three parts:
- Goals — what this member is working toward
- Protocol — the plan they follow: training, nutrition, habits
- Targets — specific numbers or milestones to hit
Write all three, then publish. The member sees the plan on your site as soon as you do.
Publishing a new version
Plans change, and Helm keeps every version rather than overwriting.
When you change someone's plan, you publish a new version. It shows as Plan v2, v3 and so on, with the date it went out. The member always sees the current one.
Keeping the history matters more than it first appears: three months in, when someone asks why they stopped doing a thing, the answer is in the version where you changed it.
Check-ins
Below the plan is your check-in thread with that member — an ongoing conversation, newest first.
They write to you about how the week went; you reply. It is a conversation, not a form, and it is the part most likely to keep somebody going.
You can see when a member has read your message — replies show as Seen once they have.
Older messages load as you scroll back, so a long relationship stays intact rather than being trimmed.
Who gets coaching
A member appears here when their access includes Coaching, which you set up in Offerings. Coaching access includes your Community too.
