Offerings

Offerings are the things you sell as access. Each one unlocks a level of access for the customer who buys it — a course, your community, coaching, or personal training sessions.

You create an offering once, and from then on it is what your website sells access to, and what decides who can see what.

If you sell physical products instead — things with stock, variants and a delivery address — that is the Shop module rather than Offerings.

Creating an offering

Give it a title and a description. The description is what customers read on your site, so write it as a short answer to "what do I get?".

Then set:

  • Access it unlocks — Course, Community, Coaching or PT Sessions
  • Price — enter 0 for something you give away free
  • Access length — a number of days, or leave it empty for access that never runs out

What each one unlocks

Some access includes other access. A customer who buys Course or Coaching gets your Community as well, because a course or a coaching relationship without the group around it is a thinner thing than you meant to sell.

Community on its own unlocks the community only. PT Sessions unlocks sessions only.

The form tells you which is which as you pick, so you never have to remember.

Active and hidden

An offering is either Active — shown and sold on your site — or Hidden. Hide one when you want to stop selling it for a while without losing it.

Deleting an offering is different, and worth knowing: customers who already bought it keep their access. Deleting only stops it being offered from now on.

Ordering

Drag offerings into the order you want them shown. The order here is the order customers see.

What you need first

Offerings appear once you have something to sell access to — a course, a community, coaching or PT sessions. They work alongside customer accounts, since access belongs to the customer who signed in and bought it.
