What is Helm

Helm is your business dashboard — a private, branded control panel for managing your website content without touching code. The sections you see, the fields you can edit, and the way your website displays content are all tailored specifically to your business.

Two ways to get started

There are two ways businesses come to Helm:

• A developer set you up. A developer built your website, created your account, and sent you a login link to get started. Your dashboard arrived ready to use.
• You signed up yourself. If you already have a website, you can sign up for Helm yourself, connect your existing site, and manage its content from your own dashboard. A short guided setup walks you through the rest.

Either way, you end up in the same place: your own dashboard, scoped to your business.

What you can do

From your dashboard you can edit your website content and push changes live in seconds, upload and manage images, view analytics about your visitors, manage optional extras like a loyalty programme, and look after your subscription and domain — all from one place, on any device.

How it works

When you make a change and click Go Live, your website updates immediately. Every change is auto-saved as a draft first, so you never lose work.

Who sees what

Only you and the people you invite can access your dashboard. Your customers never see the dashboard — they only see your public website.
