Inviting Members

Bring other people into your dashboard — a business partner, a manager, an assistant who keeps the menu up to date.

Team is an owner-only page. Editors and viewers do not see it, so there is no risk of someone adding themselves.

Adding someone

Open Team and click Add Member. Enter their email address and choose Editor or Viewer.

• Editor — can edit and go live
• Viewer — read only

What they actually receive

They get an invitation link, not a password. Nothing is emailed that would let someone into your dashboard if the message were forwarded or left open on a screen.

The link is single-use and expires after seven days. Following it is where they choose their own password, and until they do, the account cannot be signed into at all. If someone tells you the link has stopped working, it has almost certainly expired — invite them again and a fresh one is sent.

If the invitation cannot be emailed for any reason, nothing is created. You are told to try again in a few minutes rather than being left with a team member who exists in your list but never received anything.

If you invite someone who is already on your team, you are told so plainly instead of the invitation going out twice.

Changing someone's level later

You do not have to remove and re-invite. Change the level on their row and it applies from their next action — they do not need to sign out and back in, and nothing they have already saved is affected.

Removing someone

Remove them from their row. Access stops immediately rather than lasting until their session runs out.

Removing someone from your team does not delete anything they made. Their edits, their published versions and their entries in your activity history all stay exactly where they are.

What you cannot do here

Three things are deliberately out of reach from this page, and all three protect you from a mistake that would be hard to undo:

• You cannot make someone an owner.
• You cannot change or remove an existing owner.
• You cannot remove yourself.

If you need a second owner added, an owner's access changed, or an owner removed after someone leaves the business, ask your developer and they will do it for you.
