Managing Your Modules

The pencil icon in your sidebar opens the module manager. It does two quite different jobs: tidying what you see, and buying optional extras.

Hiding what you do not use

Turning a module off here hides it from the sidebar. That is all it does. Nothing is switched off, nothing is cancelled and nothing is deleted — whatever is in that section is still there, exactly as you left it, the moment you show it again.

Two things are worth knowing before you start tidying.

It applies to everyone. Your sidebar is your business's sidebar, not a personal preference, so hiding a section hides it for every member of your team.

Only an owner can change it. Editors and viewers see the result but cannot adjust it, which is why an editor who thinks something has gone missing should ask an owner rather than assume a fault.

Home, Edit and Settings are always shown and cannot be hidden.

Adding optional features

Four features can be added yourself: Analytics, SEO, Loyalty and Customer Accounts. Only an owner can buy them.

Adding one turns it on immediately, and it is charged immediately too — you are invoiced for the rest of your current billing period rather than it appearing quietly on some future bill. There is no waiting period and nothing to arrange with anyone.

Removing an optional feature

You can remove an add-on again from the same place.

You are not refunded to your card; the unused part is credited against your next invoice instead. If your plan was upgraded in the meantime to one that already includes that feature, removing the add-on does not take the feature away — you simply stop paying twice for it.

Everything else

The modules included in your plan are always available and cost nothing extra.

Some features are not part of any plan and cannot be bought here — they are turned on for a business individually. If you want something you cannot see in this list, ask your developer; it usually exists and simply needs enabling for you.
